User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Headphone Adapter not included
Works great, good price, one complaint; the headphone adapter is not included, which makes it impossible to use without making a separate purchase. I contacted the company and they do sell them for .47, cents plus three dollars shipping and handling – huh? Otherwise, a great product.

5 Stars Excellent value
I purchased this kit to start podcasting. Nice mike with usb input. Comes with OK headphones. Simple connection…I use it with Roxio’s sound editor with good results. Very good value. Suggest you purchase a separate pop filter. Hear the result at http://www.memory-lane.org. (click on Podcasts button)

5 Stars Great sound
I use this mic without the headset, for everyday Skyping and to teach online. Audio from my speakers doesn’t interfere or cause feedback during live conversations. So the mic provides hands free, high quality audio.

When I purchased and started using it, people were happily surprised at how well my voice came through. An essential tool not just for podcasting but for other online audio as well.

5 Stars Podcasting made easy
Alesis USB Mic Podcasting Kit with Headphones and Software

I needed a good quality microphone to produce some powerpoint presentations using Camtasia. The microphone easily installs and functions beautifully. It also works great with speech to text applications. For the applications I use, a boom microphone with a headset is uncomfortable and I do not always want to monitor the recording as it is being produced. The headphones are ok and I had a bit of a problem getting the computer configured to work with them with the microphone but once I did they work fine. A good product at a reasonable price.

5 Stars Excellent Mike and headphones at great price
I wanted to get into podcasting, and this package is it. Works great and sounds great, and the price is good. Just love it.
